Marine Conservation Survey Data

  • Survey data collected by EcoDive volunteers can be viewed on the SILMAR website. The site is in spanish but is quite easy to navigate: in the drop down location menu, choose Girona, L’Escala transect GIM0109 or GIM0110. Latin names are used for the species on the website, but when training volunteers to identify species I use the common English names.
  • You can also read the 2009 SILMAR Report for our research GIM0109 transect in magazine form on YUDU or download the SILMAR Report in pdf format.
